Competitive Bidding

Four lessons on COMPETITIVE BIDDING will be taught by Audrey Craig on Monday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 this coming November.

When the opponents conk out at the two level, usually it means that you and partner have about the same combined strength as your opponents. As Eddie Kantar would say "Should you let them play there or should you stir the pot and reopen the bidding".

The sessions focus on the advantges and disadvantages of balancing and when you should consider balancing.

Sessions will be held on Monday, November 6 and 13 from 1:00 to 3:00.

A review of the Michaels Cue Bid will be followed by the uses of the Unusual Two No Trump. These are very useful tools, typically reserved for hands with a 5-5 or longer pattern. These are excellent conventions to add to your bidding toolkit.

Sessions will be held on Monday, November 20 and 27 from 1:00 to 3:00.
